Ipsa Manhas

Director

Greetings fellow Delegates!

Welcome to ISMMUN 2022, I am Ipsa Manhas-the Director of DISEC for this year and I’m really contented to welcome you all.

Starting off with my MUN journey I’ve taken part in 4 MUNs till date, one of them being ISMMUN2021.

I got into MUNs back in 2019 when I just entered high school. My very first MUN was CHEMUN which was held in Chennai. I was allotted the committee DISEC. The first day was a really nerve-wracking one since I had little or no clue about the committee proceedings. But gradually, by the second day I started gearing up and decided that I had to give in my very best. After this MUN experience, I decided that MUNs are definitely my thing I’ll continue taking part in more of them. The best and the most coincidental part about this is that I was always allotted the committee DISEC in all my four MUNs!

In my eyes, MUNs serve as a really constructive forum for delegates to develop skills like leadership, teamwork, negotiating, researching and a lot more!

We as the DAIS are really looking forward for an astounding, entertaining and a wonderful session.

Happy MUNing!

Harshvardhan Patil

Assistant Director

Welcome Delegates! My name is Harshvardhan Patil and I will be the assistant director of the DISEC this year. It gives me immense pleasure to lead this committee with my director Ipsa Manhas and we hope to be the best dias you could get.It has always been a thrilling experience being a delegate in ISMMUN for the past 3 years. To end this off as a dias in one of the committees makes me feel very honored. I still remember my first time at the MUN where I was the delegate of Portugal. Didn't know what to expect and went along with the little amount of research I had. It was a great experience and I felt more confident than before. What matters is the confidence you gain, the courage to speak up for your country and the diplomacy skills you will learn throughout your journey. Can't wait to have you all at the session. Good luck MUN'ing!
