Ainsley Martis
Director
Distinguished Delegates,
A very warm welcome to HCC, I am Ainsley Martis and I am privileged to serve as your Director for ISMMUN 2022.
In ISMMUN 2019 I delved into the world of MUNing by representing the United Kingdom’s delegate to DISEC where I won a verbal mention. In ISMMUN 2020, I had the opportunity to serve as the delegate of Mexico to UNICEF. I can happily say that I avidly involved myself in the debates and thereby won the award for Honorable Delegate or as now known as the High Commendation 1.
Owing to my performance in UNICEF, I got selected to be a part of the dais in ISMMUN 2021. I received the amazing opportunity to become Assistant Director of HCC and boy, oh boy, it was a rollercoaster. From being last in the Non-conventional Committee Rankings to climbing all the way up to winning the award itself, was a fantastic journey and has given me a lot of experience that I shall eagerly bring forth to this year’s rendition of HCC and ISMMUN.
Attending MUNs has given me a wider perspective of our world and the world of diplomacy by giving me the confidence to speak in front of a large audience, and giving me various memories to cherish.
Once again, I wish you all the very best and hope that we can push together for the award of best committee.
Happy MUNing
Alishba Khan
Crisis Director
Greetings delegates!
I’m Alishba Khan as your Crisis Director for HCC (Historical Crisis Committee).
It all began in 9th grade, as a terribly shy delegate in UNODC but came out the next year, having had a blast in ECOSOC, awarded with the High Commendation 1 Award.
Whether it’s your 1st MUN or the 10th one, you’ll always come out of a conference as a wiser person. So try your best, and this experience will be an unforgettable one. Happy MUNing!
Nahad Bin Noushad
Assistant Director
I am Nahad Bin Noushad and it is a great pleasure and honour for me to be here
I started my MUN journey in class 9 where I represented “Saudi Arabia” in SPECPOL.
In class 11, with the experience I gathered from class 9, I represented “France” in HCC and received a verbal mention, and now I am here as the Assistant Director of HCC.
If there’s anything that MUN has taught me, it’s the importance of standing up for your opinions and letting it be heard in a group; which I believe is an important life lesson.
