Hello Delegates and welcome to ISMMUN 2022! I am Aditi Sawant, Director of this year’s Fictional Committee, STRANGER THINGS.
It's a fantastic experience to be a part of MUN, whether you're a first-timer or not. I guarantee you that this is a chance you should not pass up because it taught me in abundance.
My first MUN encounter in 2019 saw me acting as the Delegate of France at the G20 committee; while I didn't say much, it taught me to speak out and I bagged the best position paper. The other years were equally thrilling, along with the first-hand experience of the fictional committee. Regarding my MUN experience, all I can say is that I undoubtedly relished each and every session in which I participated. The intense debates and arguments made the informal apologies all the more amusing and I'm confident that this year will not disappoint me either.

A Warm Welcome to ISMMUN 2022! The name’s khan, Fariha khan. I'm graced with this opportunity to serve as your Assistant Director this year for the Stranger Things committee.
It all commenced in the year 2020, my very first MUN session posing as the Defendant of USA at the International Court of Justice. I had done my fair share of researching but was it nerve-wracking? daunting? demanding? Yes. You name it, felt it all but as most would agree your very first MUN should entail listening, observing, and learning. I couldn’t perform to my maximum potential but still kicked in with a verbal mention.
2021, I registered for my first fictitious Marvel Cinematic Universe committee. The frequent crises updates kept the committee fast paced and engaged, enabling us to think more flexibly as we tackled these challenges. This time around, I was considerably more confident, which enabled me to secure the position of High commendation 1 or, in old-school terminology, honorable delegate.
As your assistant director for this year's fictional committee, I swear allegiance to do everything in my power to make this a wholesome and memorable MUN experience for all of you; Please do not hesitate to consult me if you have any concerns.
