I firstly avail this opportunity to welcome you to ISMMUN2022, My name is Ayushi Jayanti and I will be serving as the Director of UNSC for this year. This will be my 4th year participating in ISMMUN.

My MUN experience kick-started with ISMMUN 2019 where I represented Qatar in IOC. I was so clueless with how things work and how to keep up with the rules of procedures. I did my research but I didn’t know how to utilize it yet managed to receive a verbal mention. The following year in ISMMUN 2020 I participated as the delegate of Israel and this time around I took part confidently debating throughout the session and won distinguished delegate. In ISMMUN 2021 I got a chance to represent USA in UNSC and won the best delegate award!!

There is no denying that MUN has played a vital role to serve as a morale booster with instill confidence in me. It provides a platform to share your thoughts and concerns and allows you to express yourself in front of many delegates.

Delegates, the goal is not just winning an award but to have an excellent time filled with fun and useful experiences. It’s not just the heated debates but also the fun little moments like informal apologies that make ISMMUN a constructive forum.

I am so excited to meet you all and counting on your continued leadership and engagement during the conference. I look forward to working with you and guiding you. Hope you all will enjoy and have a wonderful experience in ISMMUN 2022. Happy MUNing!

I am Mitansh NK, and I humbly welcome you all to Indian School Muscat MUN 2022. I will be serving as the assistant director of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) this year in ISMMUN 2022. My first MUN experience was last year in ISMMUN 2021 when I got appointed as the delegate of Vietnam in UNOOSA. Since it was my first MUN experience, I was nervous but, in the conference, I just went with the flow and managed to win an award as well. I learnt a lot of things in the MUN, but the most important thing was that I had a lot of fun. Everyone is better in things they enjoy, and I assure every single one of you that this MUN experience will be extremely fun for both you and me. I know there may be many first timers this time and I know how that feels and my advice to all of you is that you must always be involved in the conference and not stay back just because it’s your first time, this was how I did good in my conference and got appointed as the DAIS this year. If I can do it, so can you. Lastly, I would just like to say that this conference is going to be an extremely fun and challenging journey and I wish all of you the very best.
